Recently I've been critical of CIGs handling of the Overdrive Initiative, and to be fair it was warranted. With today's email regarding delivery of the rewards within release of 3.23 I feel like CIG deserves a nod of "thanks" for listening to the community. - F7A Mk II Hornet Upgrade: All players that complete missions 1 to 5 of Overdrive Initiative will receive a complimentary upgrade from the F7C Mk II Hornet to the F7A Mk II with the release of Alpha 3.23. When the new patch launches, just accept the mission titled ‘Overdrive Initiative: Reward’ and you’ll be granted your upgrade (and free 7-day rental). XenoThreat Armor: The XenoThreat medium armor will be granted to all players who complete each Overdrive Initiative mission and the following XenoThreat Global Event in Alpha 3.23. Make sure you complete Overdrive Initiative missions 1 - 4 before the new patch releases, as only mission 5 will be available in Alpha 3.23. EDIT: Looks like missions 1-4 will now be available in 3.23 prior to XenoThreat. Please excuse my late update as I have other life things happening. So those of us who have completed the missions...AND...there are no database discrepancies, we will get the new F7A in time to fight the XenoThreat. The armor will be delayed until after the battle, and that seems logical. Regarding tracking of the event, that's a different discussion. Please, lets analyze and celebrate this major community/CIG collaboration, but keep the hate to the other threads that are focused on tracking. Thank you.
