Do you understand the vision of the game? I see a lot of misconceptions, a lot of misunderstandings. For a start: Star Citizen is not going to have PVE servers. It will not have armistice zones. It will be a PVP anywhere game. It will not have matchmaking: we will all be in the same universe (what do you think server meshing is for?) Pootling about in your Freelancer MAX, selling goods about the place? Alone? In a universe where everyone is online, armed, and dangerous? Did you think this was going to be an environment in which a) you never get pirated and b) you never get murdered? However: chill, your lives regen (which is a very weak point in the lore.) Don't you realise that you can't make max profit, all the time, and be at 0 risk? These are facts of life. Tips for traders, miners, and salvagers, who find themselves the prey of pirates: 1) Take less popular routes, earn a lower profit, be at less risk. 2) Be wary: check your ship for intruders, be armed, and check out for other ships once your ship is clear. Keep an eye on your cargo. Keep an eye out: do not watch youtube while you trade. 3) Organise, build companies, pay for people to kill the pirates for you, this is a dangerous universe, get used to it. I see other misconceptions and misinformation: Star Citizen is not an MMORPG. It is not, and I paraphrase, "in the lineage of EverQuest and World of Warcraft." It is a human skill based, ground, air and space combat piloting simulation set in a dangerous universe of piracy, alien invasion and war, which can come from any quarter. Please understand these things before you buy more ships. It is a Space Sim. It is Star Citizen. EDIT: I realise that by ommission I may have given an incorrect impression, and this was an error on my part. High Sec will be safe. Mostly.
