CIG, ngiyoching, sa'a.. How can you break the game this hard on a minor patch release? The only content added are new ships - supposedly, also alot of fixes (marked possible, of course). But your servers are in a almost permanent server error loop on many shards. Yes its a patch day. Yes load can exacerbate issues. But do you actually have a plan? Do you actually do any load testing? Do you need a consultant? I work as a Lead Performance Tester for a large gaming company - if we consistently had such poor releases, we would not have any clients and i'd be out of a job. Its shockingly poor. Could we get some answers from Benoit as to why CIG are seemingly unable to deliver proper updates that do not absolutely body the game on a consistent basis. Yes you mark it as an alpha but you consistently refer to it as a live service. This patch is worse than Defence Con right now. After no less than SEVEN back to back server errors, i got seven seconds to bed log and praying im now not shard locked. UPDATE: Seems some of issue may have been caused by Idris spawning causing crashes. How. Does CIG even execute acceptance tests on a build before it goes out? On that front not even the status page was error free, with AEGIS spelt incorrectly. '2235 UTC - The AEGS Idris has been temporarily filtered out of ASOP Terminals. Access to spawn these vehicles will be restored once a hotfix has been applied.' That said, crashloop is still occurring despite this mitigation 7 hours later. Further update: Attempted to play Arena Commander. Both the Khartu-Al and San'tok.ya-i spawn without engines if customised - in alien week.
