So, I see a lot of posts that are essentially complaining about PVP and Master Modes. A lot of posts. And I think that is just terrible. You can't beat the pirates, you don't want to compete, and you want CIG to change its vision for the game to suit you so that you can run around without risk. I think that's just horrible. But... I wanted to come in here, and explain what you should doing instead, what I would be doing if I thought there was a serious piracy problem in the game and I wanted to change things. I wouldn't go cry to CIG... no... I'd do it differently. I would load up a C2 with Mirai Furies. I don't know how many you can fit, but I imagine its right around 10. Load up 10 Furies, with 10 crack pilots, and go be bait. If you can't bait out a pirate crew, even when trying, then maybe piracy's not so bad a problem right? If it takes you so long to bait out a pirate that you can't do it, then perhaps its time to stop pretending its a problem. But if you do get hit, they're done. Its highly unlikely that you're going to face any pirate crew that is 10 furies strong. The more people you have in a pirate crew, the more people you have to pay. Pirates want to hunt with the bare minimum number of people and ships. You're likely going to get hit by 3-5 ships. No way are they going to be able to take on 10 furies and a C2. No way. The Fury isn't a gladius, but its not bad either. 2v1 with good pilots (and a C2) you should be able to take on anybody. With bounties, you can perhaps make a little money on the way. Why isn't this the solution? Why is it that people instead expect their C2 to be able to fight off or outrun 3-5 combat ships if its caught? Why isn't trap setting and fighting back the solution rather than lazily begging for buffs to non-combat ships? Attempting to kill the pirates yourself was always an option. Why isn't that enough?
