I am posting this in an attempt to help those, who like myself, are often the victims of griefing. • Recognize that legitimate pvp does serve its purpose in Star Citizen and not all pvp is griefing. • Be familiar with CIG’s definition of Griefing - https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/1/thread/excessive-griefing-stream-sniping/ • Do not accept other people’s opinions or definitions of griefing as CIG’s definition is the only on that matters and is not open to debate. • Be ready to provide evidence before the griefing event occurs. I use OBS to record my game sessions but there are many other apps like ShadowPlay etc o https://obsproject.com/ o https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/geforce-experience/shadowplay/ o If others provide links, I will add them here. • Once in game press Tilde ~ and type r_DisplayInfo 3, hit enter and press Tilde to close the console. This helps identify when and where the event occurs to CIG. • Ensure that one of your largest MFD’s is set to Target. This will be important later to identify those griefing you. • Anytime an event that may be griefing occurs, start recording. • Make sure to cycle targeting all those who are griefing you so CIG can later identify them. Zoom in on the Target MFD if you can. • After the event has concluded stop recording. • Post your video to youtube or another site but make sure the video is unlisted. I believe you are not allowed to name and shame others and your video is meant for CIG only. • Create a Customer Service or Concierge Ticket - https://support.robertsspaceindustries.com/hc/en-us/requests/new • In the ticket, provide as much detail as you can and a link to your unlisted video. I generally use "Player Harassment" followed by the names as the Subject. Do all you can to assist CIG in this process. I hope you find this information helpful. Take care,
