Assuming that the Tech will be there, at some point, I am curious to understand "how" Cloud Imperium Games thinks to convince the maximum requirement of players, which I understand is 80 for a Javelin, and 28 for an Idris, to want to actually Crew those Multi-Crew Ships, singlely, and not a multitude of Ships which they could field in with those players' numbers... I mean, can we imagine what would be the variety of Ships and Firepower and flexibility that they could field these 80 players, rather then all packing a single 1 Javelin or, for 28, to Crew 1 single Idris ? My question being, why would 80 or 28 players think that they would be "better off" to all be on a single Javelin or Idris, rather then wanting to insteal fly a multitude of well assorted and mixed up smaller Ships ? Because, in the ends, it WILL come down to what players will think they are better off with, whether all being in 1 Multi-Crew Ship or in several smaller Ships that will determine whether or not Multi-Crew Ships and gameplay will be a thing in Star Citizen's Universe, me thinks. Unless this question finds a proper and valid answer, I do not see "why" 80 players, or 28 players, would want to pack themselves into a Javelin or an Idris.... Does anyone know what "arguments" is CIG thinking to use, to motivate so many players to fly in a single Multi-Crew Ship, all together, rather then fielding in a multitude of well-assorted and more flexible smaller Ships ?
