Hull C actually perfectly illustrates the essence of SC and CIG's approach to game development. Unnecessarily over complicated design (the spindle took 3 years to implement), and because of that takes years to implement, as CIG heroically solves artificial challenges they created for themselves. And when the ship is finally ready, all you can do with it is watch how nicely it folds and unfolds, because the rest of the game is not ready for it. Proper cargo system is not ready, trade is not ready, economy is not ready, other star systems are not ready.
