I've really been looking forward to seeing this beast in game because it represents the first threat to players when they're out and about in the huge terrain on Microtech (other than PvP). All of a sudden, there's a reason to look over your shoulder and to check your ammo count. One hope I have for this is that these creatures are not ubiquitous. I'm interested to hear other people's views on the matter, but for me, the thought of going out on an expedition, tooling up, taking provisions etc just on small chance that I could see one would be fun gameplay. If the creature is wary of loud ships and vehicles, forcing us to take smaller transport, ultimately leaving us to trek on foot through the snow in order to get close, then this gives us a real reason to plan journeys and to get out and about. If the creature is easily spotted from the air and is indifferent the presence of ships, able to be gunned down by the turrets of a passing Carrack, it will be a bit of a wasted opportunity IMHO. I think an ISC or even an SCL on this would make good viewing for the backers, especially around the expected behaviour of the creature under various circumstances.
