You know, I can understand when the new things are broken. It makes sense, they're new and largely untested (see Ironclad CM), but that's not the problem. The problem is that they won't get fixed. They persist. For years. And the devs (as in: the people in charge, not the hardworking developers that have to work overtime to keep this rustbucket from falling apart) don't seem to give a crap. Instead they shove even more stuff into this game that adds even more tech debts and further destabilizes the game. Like the cargo elevators. They never bothered to actually fix those. Almost two whole years since those were introduce and yet almost every single cargo elevator at outposts is completely broken with no workarounds available. Which means a large part of the available cargo missions are unplayable. And that is just the tiniest fraction of the stuff that just doesn't work. And now we've got the Ironclad. A ship with a largely useless gimmick that is a bug machine on the same level as the largely useless gimmicky physical cargo elevators. I do not believe that the CM issues and the many other bugs that plague the IC will be fixed anytime soon. Because CIG doesn't give me any reason to. They just move on to the next patch and stack yet more tech debt and more bugs. Yes. I am aware this is an alpha. But this is also a live service. CIG said so many times. But that also means you have to treat it as one. Defaulting back to "it's an alpha" to avoid providing at a least a semi playable experience is nothing but a dick move at this point. And just to be clear: by playable I mean being able to actually do things without having google open to search for possible workarounds of otherwise gamebreaking bugs that appear every 5 minutes. You are aware of the terrible state your patch is in, yet you push your free fly event anyway and break the highly unstable game even more. Seriously CIG, a billion dollars, massive ship sale events, high quality video ads that portray the game as something that it absolutely isn't, all paid by backer money btw. Whatever your vision for 1.0 looks like, if you continue doing things like you are now, this entire thing will blow up in your faces in spectacular fashion as soon as the wider gaming community takes a look at it. So stop fumbling around and get your s*** together and deliver what you promised. Rant over.
