seriously CIG ? you make the warbond CCU pledges go up in price in buyback? ...i backed this project beyond anything else and took alot of shit CIG threw at backers... but the greed has taken over for good and i won´t give a single cent anymore... at this point i wouldn´t be suprised if they announce a "monthly subscription" model soon... this will be the point when i will quit playing. The amount of let downs CIG has brought to their backers has risen to new heights since last december. EDIT: to clarify this is not about adjusting the CCU buyback prices .. it SHOULD have been that way for years now.. for some reason CIG didn´t went through with it .. until now, there are issues imo with how CIG finally went about adjusting the buyback pledge prices , like for example no heads up for the backers that they change something that´s been standard for years.. BUT the issue here is CIG changed how Warbond pledges in buyback work and that they are now affected by price raises and lose their discount once they are in the buyback pool.. but CIG explicitly stated before that change ,that warbond pledges retain their original pledge price/discount when they get bought back. EDIT 2: The absolute silence from CIG about this ,although it seems to be an issue for alot of backers, speaks for itself... It wouldn ' t be to hard to do some damage control ... Like : Hey our dearest backers , we fucked up and we are sorry , we have to move to this handling of buybacks for blablabla reasons.. we now see that a heads up would have been in order for such a drastic change of the buyback system, therefore we revert the changes so you , our supporters, have the time to act on your buybacks . The change of the buyback system will be implemented in 6 weeks from now . As a token of our appreciation every backer will be granted two additional buyback token. ... Sth Like this.. this is a chance for CIG to show that they are not like others gamedevstudios/publishers , that their ethics stayed the same in their basis.Admitting to having made a mistake is no sign of weakness and the community won't forget such a gesture.
