A scenario where you get sniped in an open world as big as this just doesn't happen enough for it to be a widespread problem. This might happen to you once every now and then when someone with a sniper just happened to be in a good position when you decided to go to the exact spot that they decided to be in, and also when there is a reason why killing you would be advantageous. It's not going to happen to you while you're delivering your box to your kiosk. The time vs reward is just not there. If you are getting sniped constantly it's because you are choosing to be in a widely known PvP area and you should have prepared for it. The devs made a knee jerk reaction when they realized that snipers were a problem at Jumptown. Instead of just realizing they made a badly designed event... Like putting a facility in the middle of an open crater and calling it a PvP event (sniper's wet dream).... they decided to nerf snipers across the board instead. Here's a better solution next time a PvP event is launched: Spawn in a big ole rock or two for sight obstruction. It's genuinely that easy. I also don't want to be discovered when I'm just trying to observe people from a distance. Give us some damn binoculars at least before this implementation. EDIT: A lot of you are complaining about how a 1 shot sniper ruins fun... Yet you're totally okay with an A2 dropping a bomb on an event area and killing everyone without the option of a soft death. Any time someone has brought up a situation like this where there is another game mechanic that "1-shots" people on the ground, no one responds back to it. Delusion at its finest.
