So today I came across a trader hauling cargo on Ariel. I watched him for awhile and he did a few runs. My buddies were not on so pirating him our usual way was out of the question. Instead I snuck onto his ship and waited until he was fully loaded. I stood behind him while he was in QT and pointed my gun at him. I told him to drop out of QT and strip. He responded to me and was very surprised I was on his ship. He stood up and we began talking... I asked him to strip down to his undies and pay me 25k aUEC and told him I would get off at his dropoff point. He decided to call me a bunch of names and went on a whole lecture on how I am a terrible person and that he is recording me and I am going to get permabanned for harassment and griefing. This went on for a few minutes and ended with some rather terrible insults followed by a silent stare.. He pulled a pistol on me so I shot him in the face... He continued to cry in global chat about the interaction and I told him to go ahead and pay me 25k and ill drop his ship off at his stop. This would of prevented him from losing the entire load. He refused so I self destructed his ship and hopped out. I was floating in space and was picked up by a friendly like minded guy in chat that thought the interaction was funny. I made an enemy that day as well as a friend.. The point is... Am I in the wrong? I usually would not care about this but it got me wondering... How many here on spectrum would respond to me the same as this guy? Is it really so bad having a "RARE" interaction like this in star citizen? Should it not be something that makes the game more immersive to have to take precautions when trading? I get that griefing, pirating and forced PvP in general is a touchy subject for a lot of people... But is this not what we are investing in? A fully immersive environment?
