I do live in the knowledge that this game is not at 1.0 yet. I truly get it, but there are so many things to overcome in this Early Access and the bugs at times seem insurmountable. I put the game to the test in the last 2 months, established a Discord channel, formed an organization from scratch and saw as many as 80+ players cycle in and out in a very short period of time, the dropout went from 80+ to a handful rapidly. We are already moving to other games because nothing in the core mechanics of the game works. The vast majority of people only have 45 minutes of game time and they just want to enjoy themselves and we are not seeing it. It's really simple, if people can't login and are spending 3 hours trying to get into the game you have a problem. It doesn't matter what events, points of interest or items you create, if your ship can't be flown, get's chewed by the hangar what is really the point? These areas such as contested zones or event areas don't matter if the server issues cause such high levels of latency where something as easy as a gun won't fire or reload. I find it ironic because the Cryengine was a FPS engine, correct me if I am wrong? In a year dedicated to performance it doesn't seem to do much in a system plagued with far more bugs.
