I waited 6 long years for Pyro. I love the visuals and was excited for the PvP action, but not the way CIG designed it. So far it looks visually stunning and has amazing atmosphere. The large scale planets and system is awesome. The settlements look cool and I love the Star Wars small town vibes. Going to small shops to buy things is a fun experience. The jump point is genuinely a great experience to navigate. Murder Fest Without Consequences The thing that really made me make this post is the lack of development in the in-game reputation system. The reputation system should prevent players from camping outposts to blow up players and kill them once they land. Why are the Rough & Ready or Citizens of Pyro guards not actively killing these camping griefers? They should be protecting their customers from being killed while shopping. Pyro was supposed to be a fun place with occasional uexpected PvP (based on ISC outpost episode). Instead it is a place where once you land and exit your ship, expect it to get blown to bits or get shot in the back while exploring. The consequences of griefing is non-existent. I don't blame PVP players, they are playing the game as CIG made it. I blame CIG's incredibly poor game design. There needs to be in-game consequences for players shooting me in my back the moment I exit my ship at a gang-controlled outpost. These consequences could include: - Gang reputation damage when players cause violence in a gang-controlled area - Gang-set bounties on hostile players when a player is killed in their territory without their permission. The hostile player has a universe wold kill order placed on them.
