Hey everyone, A while ago, CIG conducted a survey to gather feedback from the community. As far as I can tell, we haven’t seen any official presentation of the results yet. This makes me wonder—why the silence? One possible explanation is that the results don’t align with what some might have expected. Maybe the majority of players actually prefer Star Citizen to stay true to its vision as an immersive space simulation rather than turning into a fast-paced shooter like Call of Duty. If that’s the case, is CIG hesitant to reveal the data because it contradicts certain development directions? I’m not trying to start a conspiracy theory, but I think transparency is important. If they went through the effort of asking for our opinions, they should be willing to share the results with us. Edit: I understand that CIG never explicitly stated they would publish the survey results. However, given that Star Citizen is a crowdfunded game, transparency should be a key principle. Sharing this kind of data wouldn’t just build trust but also show that they value community feedback. While it’s their choice whether to release the results, wouldn’t it be in the spirit of open development to do so?
