Think about that for a second, 15+ years. Imagine backing the game and 15 years later your not even in the stage of your life where you play games as much any more. 15 to 20 years and most people have entered a new stage of life entirely, some will have moved on and started families, new jobs, lifestyle changes, so realistically this game isnt for a lot of the people playing it now, its for people who havent even started playing it yet (as a whole). Im all for taking the time to create something totally unique, but whats the cut off? When do people start wondering if they are actually going to be able to enjoy the game while they are still able to activley game, or will it be their kids enjoying it instead? Dont get this post wrong im not hating, i love the game, and i kinda understand the model, but the time will come where people suddenly snap out of this ''it takes as long as it takes'' phase and drop into ''gimme the damn game ive been supporting for A QUARTER OF MY ESTIMATED LIFE EXPECTANCY''...if you get my meaning
