Hey, referring to my last post, I want to draw things a bit clearer. https://robertsspaceindustries.com/spectrum/community/SC/forum/3/thread/cig-has-finally-identified-their-most-pressing-pro I cannot speak for others, only for myself. What makes me mad is not the roadmap update. It's the text you guys wrote that came with the roadmap. It is the communication on your site that pisses me off. I am a pm / product owner myself and this project is fat and incredibly large. I don't understand everything you guys are doing. For example why your work packages sometimes change so fast. Today new in the release window and two weeks later down again. Or sentences like: Weeks, not months! when it will take years. I really can't understand that. But on the whole, things are the way they are, and that's familiar to me - just on a smaller scale. But your last communication was really the peak of blasé bigotry. I would like to remind you at this point of your own words: We, the Developer, intend to treat you with the same respect we would give a publisher. Now without jokes... insert the word publisher everywhere in your letter from yesterday and ask yourself how someone like that would have reacted. I'm not talking about whether what you write is true or not. Even if it is, this kind of communication is a no-go. "Sorry, we do not want to invest more emotion and hesitation because a "distracting" part of the community, the so-called roadmap watchers, make noises." In plain language: reconsider your action from yesterday. And ask yourselves, do you want to leave it like that? This text is not written by an angry Citizen, but by a disappointed Citizen. Thank you for your attention.
