This is a rant, but i will try to keep it productive. CIG was started to not be like the other "AAA" game studios. "We know that more is possible, both technically and in terms of ambition, and we strive to achieve it. We aren't concerned with the status quo, we're concerned with upending it. That applies to development, creative marketing, community engagement, publishing, and everything we do. Is it easy? Almost never, but the fun is in the challenge." You did not "upend it", you became it. Everything the player base HATES about these AAA studios you have now become. Monitization, P2W, artifical scarcity, etc. EA does this crap. Others do this crap. Please dont do this crap. I am salty about the Idris crap, artificial scarcity, "limited" so no CCU, and then you double the price for the base and then have the audacity to put the "weapons package" at 400$ for the one and 500$ for the other.. You sold flight blades, bomb racks, etc...for money instead of ingame purchases. I know companies need to make money, you are not a charity. With that said, you were started to NOT be like the others and you just walked into that life over and over again. I try to defend SC most of the time, because i am not so foolish as to think stuff should be free. However, i think jacking prices up, artificial scarcity, etc is a sleazy move. Also, adding "more days with less quantity" isn't helping. It's just going to cause more anger and more issues. When the customer feels "screwed over", that isn't a good spot to be in as a company. Personal advice, you want more money? Make every ship available, lower their prices and watch the money roll in. Humility and apologies only go so far without actions. Right now, i am having a very hard time with the actions of this Invictus and of spending even a single dime more until these issues are addressed. Edit: For the "should have bought it before it released people. For YEARS they said "it will release with SQ42, and for YEARS SQ42 kept getting delayed. Dont blame the customer, blame the installed expectations. Edit#2: Sorry about the grammar, i fixed it. this was written on a phone during lunch
