Dear CIG Team, Please don’t forget about us solo players. An MMO doesn’t automatically mean that everyone wants to be forced into a crew. Many of us love exploring the universe on our own — quietly, independently, yet fully engaged. Of course, being solo comes with certain disadvantages, and that’s perfectly fine. But recent developments — such as the new engineering mechanics and other upcoming systems — seem to increase those disadvantages significantly. Please make sure that solo players still have meaningful ways to fly their larger ships, take on missions and enjoy progress. For many of us, big ships and capital ships are passion projects. We understand that AI and NPC crew systems will eventually help a lot, but until then, please don’t make it unnecessarily hard for us to enjoy what we’ve worked and pledged for. Thank you for your continued effort and for considering this perspective as part of the Star Citizen experience. Fly safe — solo, but not forgotten.
