Manned turrets (and their remote brothers) are much more of a offensive weapons compared to PDTs Now I ask you: why do industry ships need offensive weapons? with more and more PDTs making their way into the game it would make sense to maybe update some of the bigger industry ships Any ship that requires a large hangar or bigger should get some PDTs mounted to them and before anyone claims: "oh then you can just solo all the time" yes, PDTs reduce crew requirements (thats their entire point), but they wont stop damage from happening to the ship, especially industry ships that generally have no armor so you still would need to multicrew them because of engineering and that lack of armor. edit after about 50 replies: I used some hyperbole obviously some turrets controlled by players would be fine overall.
