So am I getting this right, Life Support Module will use power right? Oxygen in my ship is required for potential fires to be sustained? My question is: why on earth would I turn on my Life Support ever? Without it, I have more power to spare and the problem of catching a fire is nonexistent. Even if we will have limited o2 in our suit, let's say a supply for one hour. Then I would switch suits every now and then or briefly charge it. The main principle of Life Support being an actual hindrance doesn't change. Can someone come up with a reason why should I keep Life Support on, except for RP? EDIT: Points I already addressed: 1) It might be 10 or 15 mins of o2 for you. Well, in game it says I have 1h+ of o2 in my tank (mobiglass). Are they actually going to work on o2 relevancy, or is this refueling 2.0? There was not a word on that during ISC. 2) It might get very cold while no LS. Sure, let me sit in my perfectly fine Novikov that I still can wear while piloting, even with a backpack. 3) You might need to eat or drink. Yeah, every 1 hour or so visiting a station, which only proves my point that during actual flight there might be no systemic (gameplay) reasons to use LS. 4) You might have other people on board who won't wear suits. Well, but they will, as there is also no systemic reason for them not to. 5) But in the future there will be XYZ trust me bro.. Yeah sure, I'm sure refueling will be relevant in the future too. I'm talking here and now. Situation on the release of engineering. I don't want it to be a useless, 100% skippable system, like refueling currently is.
