This Friday at 10am Pacific / 5pm UTC, we'll have Rob Reininger, Chad McKinney and Ben Dorsey from the US PU Features Team on to discuss various aspects of what their team has worked on or is currently working on. SPECIAL NOTE: We're on the Road to Digital CitizenCon. Remember that there are HOURS of discussion happening there in a single day between the various panels and presentations. As with every year, certain topics are being held in reserve until then. Topics for this week's show include: Ninetails Lockdown - The new dynamic event. Cargo Refactor - Physicalized on grids, tractor beams, loading/unloading and looking ahead to persistent hangars. Selling - Loot is coming, and you're gonna need a way to unload it. Persistent Hangars - Ship spawning in the same place you docked it, localized inventory, not player-owned hangars (different feature.) ASOP Terminals - As they relate to Persistent Hangars Shopping - As related to localized inventory and persistent hangars Procedural Character Generation - Controlling the quantity and type of NPCs within a given location's population. Reputation - Current implementation, UI and experience. Asset Manager - New way to manage various inventories. Questions outside the listed topics will not be addressed. As usual, this thread is your chance to submit your questions (and don't forget to VOTE to see which ones you want answered most!) before tuning in on Friday to twitch.tv/starcitizen to hear the answers LIVE. POSTING GUIDELINES Questions should be relevant to the topic (and guests) of this week's show. Only make replies to the OP. Only one question per post. KEEP IT SUCCINCT. Boil it down to the thing you really want to know. It helps avoid confusion and begets better answers, usually. Do not direct a question to a specific developer. Do not submit one question, gets votes with that question, and then reword the question or replace it with another one entirely. Do not make use of special formatting in an attempt to draw more attention, and therefore more votes, to your questions i.e. BOLD, H1, etc. No "when" questions. No "post-launch" or "release" questions. This is a program dedicated to the continuing development of the game, and focused on the immediate and near-term future of the project. Think 3-6 months out. No pictures. Make it easy for people to find the question they want to vote on without having to scroll through pictures. Questions should be related to the development of our games and focused on topics for our developers to answer. Post violating these guidelines or the subjects of the broadcast may be deleted, as may in-line replies. Have fun with it.
