This is not about player error, lack of experience, or bad decisions. This is about items simply disappearing. Here is exactly what happened: I accepted an ASD mission and prepared properly in my hangar—ammo, loadout, and weapons. I brought my Parallax and Zenit sniper. The Zenit was the Golden Bolson variant, and the Parallax is my favorite rifle, the retired “Fun Koption Tooth Gun”, which is no longer obtainable in-game. I had just bought the Apollo the night before and decided to fly it. I landed at the ASD location, exited the ship, and did what every experienced player does: I took out my weapons and prepared them—laser, optics, everything—before entering the facility. The Parallax was adjusted and ready. I called the elevator and went down to Engineering. My primary weapon was set to the Parallax, but when I drew my weapon, I suddenly had the sniper in my hands instead. I assumed I had mis-slotted something. I took cover, opened inventory (I), and the Parallax was simply gone. Not dropped. Not stored. Not misplaced. Gone. I want a clear explanation of whether player time has any value at all. That rifle is worth as much to me as an Idris Wikelo. It is retired content. It cannot be reacquired. And now it has vanished due to a system failure completely outside player control. At this point, aUEC has no real value, trading is effectively dead, and replacing rare or retired items is impossible. When items disappear like this, it is not just a bug—it is a direct loss of meaningful progress.
