Purchased May 24th, so I'll be initiating a refund June 19th. Unless... The state of the PU is addressed with a clear action plan on what CiG plans to do to clean things up NOW, not after the (presumably delayed) SQ42 release. I am not asking for a polished alpha. What I'm asking for is dedication on CIG's part to address playability issues, both through communication and action, that have plagued us for years. Everyone here knows that the PU is THE cashcow for CIG, not SQ42. However, the state of the PU has done nothing but degrade year over year, both in playability from bugs and design decisions (scripted content over extending the sandbox nature, destroying adhoc player trading, etc). This wears down old players and discourages new players. Also, I've seen a dramatic shift in Spectrum/Reddit over the past couple of years where there are fewer and fewer people defending the project. If the PU fails, the entire project fails. No one here wants this. I bought the Odin mostly for my friends and the adventure it teases. I've supported this project since 2015 because of the promise the PU's sandbox holds. I am starting to lose faith in CIG's ability to deliver that on that vision, making the Odin investment too high risk to keep. To any other Odin owners, I'm genuinely interested in your take.
