Just a little reminder of why many older backers are not so much into MM. I had to dig it out for another discussion, so I thought why not share it with you as well... (I miss summoning the mighty grafton, who knew everything) https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/15031-Star-Citizen-Alpha-20-Flight-Model-Changes We had speed already gated by modes back in the 2.0 patches. It was confusing, it was tedious and there were as many anti-threads and discussions as they are now if I remember correct. People wanted to be able to just move the throttle forward and accelerate. Without having to toggle modes. That's why we got rid of it. Me being an old backer who went through this already just wants to make clear one thing: No, we are NOT unable to adjust to changes, no, we are not unwilling to learn new stuff. We * are just saying that we've been there already and KNOW it is not a desireable place. That's also why a lot of people suggest other solutions. Like getting the power triangle back in place. Directly managing energy to the systems with it and hooking speed and acceleration to the triangle "engine" setting instead of artificially gating it behind "modes". More details on that in tons of threads or if you ask here. Thanks for your time. best, Cableguy O7 * "We" refers to old backers that dislike MasterModes and have been vocal about it.
