...we already have Eve Online if we feel the need to be either a) griefers / bullies or b) content for other players who don't have any other opportunity in life to feel "manly" and "powerful". A general atmosphere of distrust, paranoia und constant alert is, I guess, not what most players are looking for, but instead the excitement of experiencing content, travelling around, killing rats, playing cooperatively with other players. Things I miss so much whenever I try to give Eve Online another chance. Please make a better, more uplifting game than what CCP did. I know that a lot of downvotes from people, who can't wait to ruin other peoples day, will come for this thread, but they are not the majority of your playerbase. PvP should be something one consents to by going for really risky places, which should be no more than 10% of the Universe, please don't make the same mistake CCP did, who basically excluded 95% of their playerbase from 95% of the content with NBSI-policies, gatecamps, "surprise PvP" just for the thrill of ruining someones day and the concept of "player sovereignity" over whole constellations. Look at it this way: Eve Online, in theory, has a lot to offer, too... including wormhole systems (but you get ganked there), high end rat hunting (but only in 0.0 space where you get insta-ganked just for entering a system), covert ops (but only if you're willing to risk getting ganked in the few milliseconds between decloaking at the gate and the activation of your own cloaking device). But most players never see that. They are, like me, stuck in the Dodixie system, doing the same, boring Level 4 mission for Federation Navy all over again. Because going to other places where the really interesting content is, is a suicide mission.
