Right now, in 3.23 if you extend the landing gear, your ship will drastically decrease it's maximum speed to 30 m/s. This is just my personal opinion but I think it was already too bad that extending your landing gear forced the ship into coupled mode. Now reducing the maximum speed is just the worst. Please @YogiKlatt-CIG let the pilots decide these things. If I want to try a landing in decoupled mode at 100 m/s risking a possible collision at high speed, that's my choice as a player and a consequence I might be willing to take. So please give players more choices, not less. And provide consequences (a high speed landing might damage the landing gear, and if something goes wrong the ship can crash)
