Polaris needs better route guidance and more decorations. For route guidance: Please move the room name on the wall instead of putting it on the floor, it should be very visible. Especially hangar doors, instead of hangar 01, it would be better to name them Main Hallway, Med Bay, Brig, and Engineering. For decorations: First, the mess hall was such a disappointment and the entire room felt very tedious. For such a large capital-sized military ship, it doesn't have a freezer/food storage, even comparing this kitchen to the reclaimer's kitchen, it is still a downgrade in terms of material and level of detail. Here's a comparison to the Carrack interior I found online. Please improve the interior decoration of RSI ships, it seems like other than Pheonix, all other RSI ship lacks tons of detailed decorations that make the ship or room feel lively. I understand this is a military ship, but that doesn't mean the ship should be empty without any details. Here's a few example between the Carrack interior and Polaris interior. AND please, improve the hallway, bathroom, and med-bay's lighting. Okay, so the rest of this is salt and rant, skip it if you don't like it, but tell me if I'm right or not. This ship felt like it was rushed out for IAE, and it's such a big midfinger to the people who were looking forward to the ship after its redesign, especially for people waited this ship for years! The interior design is very perfunctory. Below, I attached the concept design for people to compare. First, the CO room is gone and it's replaced by this huge armory, and the captain's room wasn't even shown but I guess it's not finished. The medical room, instead of creating a storage area with Carrack-like 2 T2 med beds, it was replaced with those 4 T3 looking beds but with T2 function, I don't know if this is intentionally made for "future nerfs" or what but this med bay is the worse I've seen. I understand the change of room design for both the mess hall and the bunks could be for better asset reuse for future RSI ships (Perseus), but it made the new design extremely boring. Edit 1: The third torpedo tube pushes the torpedo into the elevator… great design CIG, go take a look urself if anyone is confused about what I’m talking about, there’s too much old texture and bad design, I don’t even understand how it went through the review, I’ll add more issues tmr in this post or a new post. Anyway, I just wanted to say that the interior details of this ship aren't the ship design that made CIG and Star Citizen unique back in the day. If the only unique thing about future ships is a cool exterior, but boring copy-pasted interiors with lack of detail, then did we just lose a huge part of what made Star Citizen special and what it's known for? Please tell me if it’s acceptable to release an 8 year old concept ship that backers waited and supported cig for years at this standard. Starlancer Max and Carrack’s interior design has shown that CIG has the ability to do better. A straight ready to fly ship like Starlancer has a way better interior design compared to a capital ship that were told ”huge chunk of the UK vehicle team” was focused on is just embarrassing, and I don't trust it a single bit. The engineering room felt like an actual senior vehicle artist worked on, while the rest of the ship is another story. Is it really acceptable if in the future CIG treats old concepts with the same attitude that quality doesn't matter when all this money is earned?
