I was just flying with my cutlass to get some new clothes from npcs in pyro at outposts. A player appear in a terrapin. I ignore him, thinking he would never try to attack a cutlass with a terrapin. He start shooting at me for no reason. I shoot back and he instantly run 20km away. Terrapin is a tank so I get bored and go back to the outpost. He come back shoot me again. Same thing repeat, I shoot back and he run away. Now I don't want to waste more time so I decide to land and ignore him for good. He come back and land and try to board me. I am a better player so I run around my ship and kill him in the back. He respawn in his terrapin which happen to be a med terrapin and go shoot my ship. I decide to keep ignoring him. He finally destroy my ship after 10 minutes of shooting with his s1 weapon. He land. I go in his ship in fps to try to disable his med bed. His med bed is impossible to disable. So I have two choice left, destroy his ship and be stuck on the outpost with no ship, or steal it. I steal it and go to space with it. He respawn inside naked and appear to be mad. I kill him then get bored that he respawn in loop so I try to be nice and let him reset his spawn. Of course he lag and knock me back and steal my weapon. I come back a few minutes later with another ship and explode him for good. But yeah it is a bad game design that CIG put everything possible in the hands of player with no brain to be as invincible and annoying as possible. I can't kill his ship easy enough because it has more HP than a carrack. I can't kill the player easy enough because he has an infinite med bed. But he can knock me back in heavy armor when he is naked. He can run away and come back with his ship to shoot me for hours. This is really bad game design. (I'm not against pvp, I just want a game design that encourage pvp only if there is a reward, and discourage pvp if there is no reward because of consequences)
