They are sold as Warbond purchases "new money" and they give the recipient of the gift store credits or "old money". That never used to be an issue however CIG started pushing Warbond sales (purchases with new money offer a discount) and more recently LTI was also locked behind Warbond purchases. Plain and simple the warbond system devalues store credits or "old money" and once a gift card has been purchased CIG is knowingly turning that "new money" into "old money". This devalues the giftcards before they can even be used... With the worse part being those people that actually buy these won't understand their money has been devalued until its too late. TLDR; Dear CIG... FIX THE SYSTEM or remove the gift cards from the store!!!
