CIG will have big financial problems when more and more people realise that their combat-oriented multicrew ships are obsolete. The current situation creates zero incentive to buy anymore multicrew ships. A large part of cig's sales volume comes from multicrew ships. However, multicrew ships are usually completely underpowered and it makes no sense to fully crew them instead of simply distributing the people to smaller ships. This makes no sense in many aspects. Multicrew ships should increase the value of players, but in most cases its a penalty to completeley crew them due to weak turrets. For e.g. why would you put people in a Polaris on a S2 missile turret or a S3 turret instead of placing them in a Fighter? Who wants to sit in really weak turrets, if you can instead fly your own ship? I would love to pledge for more multicrew ships, but i wont do it, because i lost my trust in multicrew ships and i know there are many other people who feel the same way. Big multicrew ships should not be a roleplay gimmick, it should give each crew member the feeling of having more impact than flying a solo ship.
