Me and my gaming partner for over 25 years took to playing Star Citizen a couple of years back, for many years we had shared near nightly sessions from flight sims to FPS and of course SC. We are both gettin on a bit, retirement came a few years ago had a real blast clearing bunkers etc as a team (2) . Late Aug Kitform was diagnosed with the Big C, we had talked many times into the early hours about "when the time comes" we ain't stickin around and draggin things out He didn't and left us on 30 sept 2023. I got to visit him and we both said our piece, by the time I had gotten home he was gone. His wife and daughter let me know that he insisted I take and dispose of all his computer gear as I see fit so after the funeral I collected up his prized possessions. Fast forward and after a couple of weeks of searchin through his files I found a concealed personal message for me ( says he knew I would find it) along with his passwords etc etc. So tonight I thought I would bring him home - to Bajini Point, running 2 computers his and mine I flew down to Area 18 and picked him up, flew back to Bajini Point and took a few screen grabs for old times sake Now I am not believin in the afterlife or any other such stuff but seein our characters standin side by side again was very theraputic.
