Everyday on the PTU this has been repeated. What better screen shot can we ask for? My ship being fired into, a dead player who had a parked next to my ship got blasted and floated off while his body bounced onto my eclipse. I do pvp, I expect pvp where it makes sense around a game loop in the open world where players cross paths. A wreck worth a million UEC and 2 groups fighting over is legit SC pvp in the future. A pirate trying to capture my cargo ship is legit PvP. However just sitting off the coast of a port and shooting at pads and camping the area everyday isn't a game loop. SC pvp is not CoD where you spawn and fly to the 1st player you see and shoot till you're dead and spawn again to repeat the behavior. SC pvp is goal and game loop driven where conflict occurs around some form of objective. I do bounties, I am sometimes the bounty myself, I've been killed at SPK and never complain because to me I am subject to seeing the chances of PvP occur. Here is the other problem. Players on the server doing this told me to server hop, told me its only griefing if they follow and continue the behavior. So when I see the same names each night at the same place of interest doing the same thing is that not the same idea? So if its just to shoot one another as quick as possible while must it be done at PO and at Pads. The excuse they use is they want to PvP but this could occur easily at grim hex or just about anywhere else. Chat wouldnt be filled with players yelling at each other at this point. I myself took a week of watching this before writing this post. They purposely come to PO because the fun of kicking dirt in the face of players minding their own business. If it was for pvp or the action of 1vs1 they wouldn't be shooting my ship the second it spawned. Its only purpose was to laugh at me cause I am stuck at PO. Just cause we have the football of pvping anywhere doesn't mean we should use it as rights to camp places endlessly. Things if abused can be subject to be removed, and game loops that work around pvp hurt more so as a whole and its all because a handful of players cant keep themselves in check.
