I'm just wondering. Lots of people seem to believe that Squadron 404 will release this year. Uh-huh. With that flight model, hm? Let's be serious: Who on earth is supposed to believe this? Let's forget about the bugs for a moment, the single player experience should be (I'm really stretching my positivity here) more polished than what we see in the MP-Game. But the flight mode? If it is the same as in the PU (and I refuse to believe that they have "a better one" cooked up and hidden under some sheets or something) then Squabble 42 will be dead in the water on the first day of sale. Forget the bugs, forget the tedium (and we have seen in the demos that there certainly will be tedium), the flight model alone will be enough to kill it the moment it comes out. Maybe certain people will think now that I want the game to fail. On the contrary! I just cannot understand why the one thing that seriously should define a space sim is still some promise to be done sometime down the road. Let's say it, alltogether: "Two more years!"
