I really hope that a lot of people will drop SC and play Starfield, at least for a while. CIG needs a good smack to make them understand that they can't drag alpha forever. Can't keep adding new features and mechanics endlessly, rework already existing features endlessly. Ideally, as soon as we have Pyro and rudimentary server meshing, and maybe 4.1 with bugfixes, the next version should be Beta 1.0, not Alpha 4.x. Dynamic server meshing, base building and everything else can be part of Release 2.0. Yeah, I know, this will probably not happen and people will keep funding CIG indefinitely, as soon as they see jpeg of a new ship. But one can dream, right?
