I have been a sub since Ive started playing SC years ago but canceling tonight. We have been in a content drought , with very little in terms of content. This year's reduction in the quantity of shows have been disappointing. I sub because I enjoy the content mostly and wanted to support the videos that Jared produced. As all things CIG has changed over the years and honestly doesn't feel like an open development at all anymore with corpo speak , avoiding answers to the harder questions, not much in way of what current issues are that they are focused on , no updates on team focus on a regular basis, CIG is a massive company and you are telling me that theres weeks or spans of several weeks no one is working on anything you think the community would be interested in? I understand the devs are busy ... so they say but thats not stopping jared or someone in the team or a community manager to give the players a run down on youtube on whats going on around the company .... instead crickets. Could hit some hot questions or issues on spectrum. But I guessing thats to much to ask. Even though many other small studios manage to produce videos every week talking about the game and whats going on while interacting with the fan base. But its no problem for CIG to do a SCL for a Chinese bar citizen and answer a lot of questions many players have from all over have. I took it as an insult to being a subscriber you do a SCL for a single market and do not release it for all , its a SCL not a SCPR. I thought subscriber funds helps keep video content for everyone but I guess not so for that hitting the cancel button and closing my wallet for the foreseeable future. so thanks for that I guess.
