And i'm going to quote carefully here: "Obviously there isn't one prototypical Star Citizen player, developing a system that's going to please everyone is an impossible task, we can only work towards OUR goals and OUR vision for what WE want this to be and HOPE it applies to as many people as possible" We are paying you guys 100 million dollars of our hard earned cash every year for you to build the game you pitched to us, and pretending that any knowledge about "what the player wants" is some elusive mystery that's almost impossible to grasp is absolute nonsense. Lets take Master Modes as an example, the 3.22 flight model leading up to this obviously did please most people, then it was replaced by a system that was developed behind closed doors, a system nobody asked for, a system nobody wanted, made without any player input, with very limited player testing at the tail end, and as soon as that happened we started to communicate that this wasn't it. (usually when player feedback is overwhelmingly negative, that's a good indication people are not "pleased", and the barrage of feedback that followed when it went live just underscored this) It was then ignored and avoided as a topic of discussion for the 8 months that followed, no attempt was made to open up a dialog with the players despite the ever increasing volume of feedback and dwindling player numbers. That brings us to now, and instead of taking a lesson or two from how this all went down, we are following the exact playbook that brought us here, again some system is cooked up that was not part of the original vision, not part of the original plans, there was zero player input, and the result should this actually be made and implemented is a repeat of the Master Modes saga, namely alienating another sizable portion of the player base, Either revert the system back to 3.22 and work from there, or at least have a poll and consult the players, the people who pay your salaries, the people who put their trust in you to deliver what you promised.
