Welcome to the 2952 Dunlow Derby Created in collaboration with the community of Star Citizen Racing & sponsored by Thrustmaster :rotating_light: Before you head to starting line, please carefully read the contest rules and details below. :traffic_light: Please be aware that any submissions not following the contest rules are invalid and will not be counted. Let's get started! Visitors to Orison are undoubtedly familiar with the August Dunlow Spaceport, the central platform for all arrivals and departures at the city in the clouds. This is where the 2952 Dunlow Derby will take place! Here's the challenge: Jump into an Anvil C8X Pisces. This magnificent little ship is available to every account for free during Invictus Launch Week Free Fly (from May 20 until May 31). Land as centered as possible on the tower on top of the August Dunlow Spaceport and turn off your engines by pushing the default 'i'.key or using the interaction mode. Open the game's console by pressing '^' and type r_displayinfo 1, press the Enter-key, and close the command console by pressing '^' again. Use video capture software to record your attempt. Power up your engine by pushing default 'i' or using the interaction mode and launch. We will measure your race time from the moment you turned your engines on. Fly towards the Providence platform, which you can see on the horizon. Halfway you will see a building below you. Fly through it. Continue flying to the right end of the Providence platform. Fly through the middle substructure of the platform in a slalom. Start with going under the first strut and above the second and so on. At the end of the platform, you have to make a U-turn to the right and fly through a tunnel on the outside of the platform to the end where you arrived previously. Fly as fast as you can back to August Dunlow Spaceport and land on the tower again. Power down your engines by pressing default 'i' or using the interaction mode. We will stop measuring your race when the ship's engines are off. Stop recording the video and upload your video to YouTube. Post your video link, your time, and your account handle either in: (A) the contest's Spectrum Submission Thread, or (B) on Twitter using the hashtag #2952DunlowDerby. The race begins when your engine is turned on and finishes when it is turned off. Showing off impressive maneuvers and precision throughout the race could get you bonus points. In addition, an undamaged ship also adds a bonus in case of very close race times between two competitors. For further clarification, check out the map above and the video below!
