Okay, so I've been a fervent fan of the Perseus ever since it was announced. I pledged the second I was able to and I don't really regret it. HOWEVER, the fact that it is only 175$ below the Polaris in price, but has less than 1/10th of the tankyness, when it is literally marketed as 'punching above its weight class' and being a 'chunky tank' is concerning. Here's the Stats in an overview (courtesy of erkul): (NOTE: These stats are the default ones, without any upgrades) - Perseus - Length: 100.5 meters Width: 50 meters Height: 25 meters Hull HP: 389,000 Shield HP: 104,000 Price: 800$ - Polaris - Length: 166 meters Width: 82 meters Height: 35 meters Hull HP: 3,950,000 Shield HP: 1,000,000 Price: 975$ For a ship, that is supposed to be (and in lore is) a tanky damage dealer (to put it in MMO class terms), it dies in missions against a bunch of AI Fighters.. and it dies quickly. I went into the 'Verse with it by myself to see how long it survives and the result was it dying in a shockingly low amount of time. And not against an Idris, a Polaris, a fully kitted out Corsair etc. It dies quickly.. AGAINST a couple of fighters. Meaning, a ship that is only 175$ less than the Polaris and is about 2/3 of the length of it, has less than 1/10th of the survivability, which in my opinion is a joke. The Polaris on the other hand, can effortlessly tank fighters for hours. The shields hardly take a hit and recover faster than they go down. And while the Perseus has more DPS, due to its S8 Ballistics, what use is that, when you die within a minute.. IN A SHIP MADE FOR BATTLE. To summarize: The Perseus desperately needs a buff in shield and hull hp. I am aware that its main strength, the armor plating, does not serve a purpose yet and probably wont for a while. But until the thick-ass armor does something, at least up the HP, so the ship tanks in the meantime. Otherwise, there's no point buying an 800$ ship, when a 350$ Paladin is more capable and can even take out the 800$ ship with next to no effort, if the crew is somewhat capable. P.S.: My suggestion for Hull and Shield HP would be as follows: Hull HP: 1,200,000 Shield HP: 350,000
