After reading the Q&A, I was truly disappointed. I’m someone who has consistently enjoyed mining for a long time, and to be honest, this direction has completely drained me. It’s not that mining is simply becoming more exploration-focused. What worries me is that even more heavy exploration gameplay is being forced into it. Players who enjoy mining are not treasure hunters. We are not looking for some rare “treasure” hidden out in space. We just want to mine resources. In my opinion, resource quality should be determined during the refining process. If the goal is really to separate high-quality and low-quality materials, then there are much better ways to do it. For example, certain resources could simply be made to appear only in dangerous areas. I’ve spent a long time enjoying mining, but after yesterday’s Q&A, I feel completely exhausted and discouraged.
