With so many missing gameplay loops, like exploration, hacking, data running and so on, I find it embarrassing that the dev team is considering spending dev time on endgame raid mechanics. CIG, you never fleshed out reputation, meaningful quest rewards, ranks, careers. There is so much you should spend dev time on to even entertain the idea of raids. Please do not allow this silly concept of endgame raids to cloud what SC is supposed to deliver. I didn't back this game to join a group and get in a dungeon to see who can survive some floor-is-lava mechanic and then do a dps check on some bullet-sponge boss and finally pray some mythic gear drops for me. I cannot fathom why these concepts are being thrown around lately but if anyone is excited for it, please enlighten me on how grinding raid dungeons for mythic gear can be a cool mechanic in 2025 SC. Finally for eveyone saying "oh, a raid can be any concept of people invading a place" : While that is correct, the term "endgame raid" is very specific and it refers directly to content from WoW and FFXIV which requres weekly repetitive grinds for abysmal drop rates and gameplay restricted to guilds/orgs only. By the way, in those games this is the only path to progression so you either do this or embrace being a crappy player and doing the other activities that do not matter.
