Hello there, race fans! We've hosted a number of high-speed racing challenges recently, but what about low-speed? Put your kart racing skills to the test in our first Vision Center Race Contest! Head over to the Vision Center convention hall in Orison by taking a shuttle from August Dunlow Spaceport, and you'll find the brand new BTR track built for the Greycat PTV. Here's the challenge: Head to the Vision Center race track. Grab a PTV from the spawn area. Park your vehicle at first position (pictured below) and turn off your engine. Time begins when you reactivate the PTV's engines. Complete one full lap of the course. Park your PTV fully across the finish line, exit the vehicle, and aim your camera at the vehicle to verify it has fully crossed the painted line on the ground. Run to the top of the winner's podium and use your favorite emote. The race begins when your engine is turned on and finishes when you emote on top of the podium. Showing off impressive maneuvers and precision throughout the race could earn you bonus points. In addition, an undamaged PTV also adds a bonus in case of very close race times between two competitors. Time is measured between turning the engines on and standing on the top of the placement podium. Players must drive the race course as fast as possible. Post your video link plus your account handle either on the Community Hub with the title "Vision Center Race" or on Twitter using the hashtag #VisionCenterRace Submit your video by Friday, March 24 at 11:59pm Pacific Time to put your hat in the ring for these prizes! Since we cannot measure the time 100% accurately, if several players have a very similar best time, bonus points will be awarded for the damage state of their PTV.
