Bones on guns and armor? Armor glowing with neon lights? Giant maniacal bear helmets? Ships with poop buckets!? CIG, it would appear you don't know your core audience anymore. We're not kids with short attention spans whose favorite game is Fortnight. We don't want to play a cosplay cartoon. We want to play in a virtual world that feels real and believable. Think about the hundreds of keybinds and game mechanics. The thousands of data points of ship specs. This is an extremely complicated and detail oriented game. And we, the mature adults that spend hundreds (if not thousands) of dollars on your game love that about it. We have long attention spans, we love mastering the details, we appreciate the need to think long-term and plan ahead carefully, and we don't need constant stimulus and action in every second of our play sessions. We spend thousands of dollars just in peripherals, just to play Star Citizen. We revel in the hundreds of settings and customizations, the tweaks to our expensive PCs to increase performance, and all of the 3rd party websites providing every tiny bit of detail and nuance we're after to play the game effectively. You've made a game that only a grown up mind can truly play well. Take a good look at all of the Spectrum posts about this. Please go back to believable. Please make it feel real. I think it's very safe to say this is what the majority of your audience wants. Not another flashy, over the top MMO, but a grounded mature game appealing to a mostly intelligent crowd of complex detail-oriented minds.
