This is just my personal impression of the last few months at Spectrum and not an objective analysis! I notice the following more and more in the Spectrum: Hostility and toxic behavior between players who have different opinions. Very toxic and inexcusable behavior, including insults and threats towards CIG employees. Black-and-white thinking: Many players only accept one for or against and no longer recognize the nuances. An omnipresent fear that features will remain as they currently are. Dogmatism everywhere you look, especially when players base their opinions in the Spectrum as facts (e.g. nobody likes Master Modes). Objective discussions and questions are quickly turned into accusations and disparagement. I realize that all of these points are probably “normal” for most internet forums. However, I have long perceived it differently on Spectrum. Do you also notice this harsh tone and what could be the reason for it? I'm not sure myself whether this is due to new players, society in general, fear of an approaching release, lack of patience or less than optimal communication. Maybe it's all of the above. Can't we get back to a more objective level and be friendly with each other? If someone doesn't like Master Modes, that's fine, and it's just as fine if someone likes the way it is at the moment. If you don't like something, then you should argue objectively and always keep in mind that nothing is final yet. Jared already seems to feel compelled to repeat this in every SCLive. Besides, criticism doesn't always have to include a solution. If you don't enjoy a feature or a change, then it's fine to say so. Not all of us know how to do it better. But please stop accusing critics of doing it better themselves. That's not helpful. For me, the current behavior in the Spectrum unfortunately means that I hardly look in here anymore and am losing interest more and more. I fear that some players may feel the same way. It would be a shame if at some point there are only 1k players online who constantly insult each other. I'm already relatively sure what kind of comments I'll get in response ...
