As a backer, concierge, and regular player, I'm going to make a Christmas wish for 2026... what if Papa CIG gave us a rework of each and every one of the ships we've had languishing in our hangars since time immemorial, ships we can't properly enjoy, instead of releasing a new ship every month or two? I think many people will agree with me that we have ships missing components, with outdated weapon tiers compared to the new ones being released, or in a state of complete disrepair. We eagerly await reworks for: -600i -MSR -Carrack (must continue implementing improvements) -F8C -Apollo Medic (what an embarrassing ship) What will the Hermes upgrade be?... -Starfarer -Caterpillar -Freelancer -Vanguard -The Polaris could be reviewed and properly balanced, not just nerfed... -The Avengers series is already very old -The Constellation series needs a rework to bring it up to date... -Aurora -Mustang -The 100 and 300 series or Origin could be reviewed. -The Reliant -Don't ruin the Reclaimer, just do something with it that actually feels good! It should refine, not just collect! -The Retaliator, when the game was designed, wasn't going down this path. I could say more, but I'm jumping from 2026 to 2027... as you can see... buying a ship is a real risk of buying something outdated. Having the latest ships is what makes people buy CCUs and upgrade... but those of us who still hope to see our ships shine are completely ignored... and I think I'm not the only one who keeps one of these ships in their hangar and doesn't use it, waiting to see them useful again! Please, CIG, take this post as a Christmas card... and make the backers who have had their ships for a very, very long time happy, and give us a little love and understanding... it's not incompatible with new sales... I assure you, you might be surprised to see that older ships, with a little attention, can attract new players! Thank you and happy holidays! Edited: I know there are more ships that need rework... I listed 17 and stopped because I think that if they dedicate 1 per month, 2026 won't be enough...
