#No-PvP protest As part of the ongoing PvP-debate, a part of the PvP community has been encouraged to protest against CIG by engaging in pvp, ie blowing up everything that moves followed up by posting #noPvP in the general chat in order to provoke a response. Afterwards, when a player who got blown up would rage in chat, they are encouraged to take screenshots of the general chat and collect them. “You need to get into the game and kill everyone on the server - you will receive a lot of hate doing this, so please screenshot all the hate messages you get. Everytime you kill someone write #NoPVP in general chat.” "By definition Griefing does not exist in game (as of now), since you are able to server hop, so feel free to blow people up, but avoid shit like spawn blocking, that will get you banned." The idea is to create buzz and engage people in debate, forcing CIG to engage in discussion. -- In your selfish crusade, the ones who are gonna be suffering in the end are all players who play Star Citizen and find themselves in the wrong place at the wrong time. All of you people who blow up everything that moves have a very weird definition of joy and satisfaction imho. Flying through the verse, doing nothing wrong and getting blow up sadly is something that is part of the game. Old players got used to it and have learned to play smart and hide (hopefully), while new players keep raging in chat whenever it happens to them. With the radical lack of content in the game, I truly do understand the PvP community. Those of you who value your group identity above all else and are proud members of the "PvP Community", especially those who are engaging in this #noPvP bullshit campaign absolutely should have a say and be heard by the CIG, but I am a firm believer of this being a very wrong way of achieving that.
