In our country, there's a proverb called "drawing legs on a snake," which aptly describes the recent event by CIG, where they awarded a ship worth over a thousand dollars to the person who sat in the Idris' pilot seat the longest. This led to numerous large streamers and fleets scouring every server for the Idris. Any player from a smaller fleet or individual players, regardless of their intention to occupy the Idris' pilot seat, were seen as threats and quickly eliminated. From the Platinum Card event to this one, CIG seems to be signaling that being a big streamer or part of a large fleet could lead to substantial top-tier perks that can't be bought with money, which is somewhat ironic. Although some may argue that ZGMF-FuXi, who is neither a streamer nor part of a large fleet, managed to board the Idris. But fortunately, this friend from our community met a swift end when two 890s collided with him before he could even explore the Idris. Instead of wandering the universe looking for the Idris in the sky and then dying in a confrontation with other players, why isn't CIG willing to place an Idris in the showroom for solo players to visit? This would align with the spirit of Star Citizen's events and cater to a broader base of the community.
