It's what some of you will be thinking. How can a digital spaceship in an unfinished game that you won't get to play for quite some time, cost hundreds and hundreds of dollars? It's really very simple. It isn't greed. It isn't being desperate for money. Like every kickstarter ever, there were pledge levels. From a couple of tenners to a few grand. Each tier of pledge came with a ship, or ships as a reward. The higher the pledge amount, the more ship you got for your money. So far so good. That set the precedent of ship cost. If a constellation cost a couple hundred of dollars, then anything bigger or deemed more useful, has to cost more. They couldn't start selling Reclaimers for less than it cost to buy a constellation now can they? So before you kick off about pricing, before you call CIG thieves or scammers, just stop. The pricing structure was determined early on by the Kickstarter. Don't buy the ship if you think it's too expensive. Simples.
