CIG, we've been watching the changes on the PTU for a little bit now, and I keep seeing you guys make larger and larger changes to how the system is going to work, with it now starting to feel like you've completely gutted the system at this point in pursuit of making it work. So I guess the question really needs to be asked, CIG, do you even remember what you are doing? And I don't mean that in a rude way, I am genuinely asking if you have maybe forgotten the original goal of engineering, because every time I see the new patch notes, it feels more and more like you've lost sight of that goal post, and have fallen into the trap of just trying to make a system work because you put so much time into it. For example. You have thousands of players who were excited to go out and become engineers in the verse. I've personally got 5 friends who've been waiting on the system to come along to jump back in because its the content they're interested in, but instead, there is nothing really there for them but a hassle. You've taken what should have been a fun mini-game style system, and turned it into yet another sub-system of the combat experience. Years ago when you showed it too us on a Hammerhead, it was shaping up to be a complex system of re-routing power, and repairing fuses. Naturally, many of us assumed this would be expanded. Cooling, electrical routing, shutting down components and transferring the load to other parts. Then earlier this year, you had us repairing pipes, clearing coolant, and replacing parts in the Onyx facilities, and I though "Oh man, I bet this will be some of what we have to do in engineering!" but instead of any of these things, instead of any actual gameplay that feels fun, and rewarding, with an engineer replacing parts, clearing ports, and repairing ruptures, rerouting systems, you've given us yet another magic space beam to raise a health bar. So again, respectfully and without malice: CIG, do you remember why you planned to add engineering in the first place? Do you remember what the goal with all of this was? Or have you gone so far off course, pushing this system, tweaking it and altering its functionality, that you've maybe stopped considering why you started building the system in the first place?
