Why would I put two people in a Scorpius when I could put two people in two Sabres and net: Equal firepower The ability to fire from two positions at the same time. 2 times more ordinance. Three times more shields. Approximately twice the hull durability Muh stealth. Same problem as the Hurricane. The gimmick is cool and fun, but nowhere near worth the manpower.
